How would you feel if I were to say I am an evangelist? I would not be surprised if you felt fearful or angry. To be honest, I’m pretty suspicious of “deeply devoted Christians” myself. I feel like I need to say: I’m not THAT kind of Christian. I’m not the evangelist to tell you your soul is in peril if you don’t change your ways. I am an every day radical that believes Jesus really does love all people and that God is crazy about you - just the way you are - and that all Americans are worthy of equal rights, period.
